Billing, limits, and data handling.
Browser translation is free at 100,000 characters per month. API access uses prepaid Premium characters at $1 per million characters, with a $5 minimum purchase. Custom amounts are available in whole dollars from $5 to $500. There is no subscription.
API requests that require Premium characters will stop once the available prepaid balance is exhausted. Browser translation can still continue under the free browser character limits.
