Authentication

Use API keys for server-side and product integrations. Browser sessions are supported only where explicitly documented.

Route auth behavior

POST /api/v1/translate supports browser translation requests. API key traffic consumes Premium characters.

POST /api/v1/translate/detect supports browser language detection up to the translator-sized input limit.

POST /api/v1/translate/batch, /api/v1/translate/batch/shared, /api/v1/translate/async, and /api/v1/translate/documents/jobs accept API keys and run under the premium/API quota path.

Glossary management, webhook profile management, usage, billing, organization, and API key management are session-only management routes.
